I’ll always remember pulling a well-loved shoebox of photos out of my parents’ wardrobe. 70’s flares, epic wallpaper, holidays before I existed, dreamy wedding days. And then there was us; bumps, babies, toddlers. People we’ve loved and been loved by. Familiar faces in a time before we knew them. The exact moments they chose worthy of documenting, in our hands. brimming with nostalgia.
Maternity and family photography isn’t just a way of guarding our own memories. It’s a gift to our children and even grandchildren in the future. A chance to glimpse into a world they were part of before their memories began. To see us as we are now, to know us as the people we were before.

The newborn stage of your baby’s life is fleeting, fragile and precious.
The flood of emotions, the exhaustion, the elation, the overwhelming love, the desperate need to nurture and protect. It only lasts a few weeks, but within this pinprick is a universe.
My at-home newborn photo shoots are designed to be as relaxing and natural as possible. You don’t need to tidy the house, get dressed up or worry about putting on a show for me. I want to capture your perfect little world just as it is. To give you some time to relax, focus on that life-affirming connection with your child, and breathe it all in. I’ll give you some gentle guidance, move things around if I need to, and work quietly to create beautiful, soulful images that will be art in their own right. But most of all I want to capture the moments of quiet. When your souls are at peace and your connection is at its deepest.
